Summer in the woods and meadows: small discoveries

You do not have to travel far: sometimes it is enough to sit down on the grass and look around.

We like walks without a goal: you follow a path and stop whenever something catches your eye. Summer gives plenty of reasons for that.

The forest smells different after rain. Stones by the water are covered with moss, and light falls through the leaves in patches. It is best to take photographs in the morning, before the wind rises and ripples the water.

The meadows have bigger residents too. A horse in tall grass looked at us without any fear, and a cow in the blackberry bushes seemed to consider the berries her own.

The advice is simple: do not hurry. The best pictures come from places where you stayed longer than you meant to.
